Installing a Vintage Air system
1963 Corvette with stock 327 engine
I bought my Vintage Air system about a year ago. Recently when I got ready to install it I discovered I had the wrong compressor brackets. The brackets are available for a long and a short water pump. Turns out the 63 Corvette has a short water pump. After two more attempts mailing brackets back and forth, I finally got the correct brackets.
Passenger side with hose smashed by windshield wipers. I don't intend to drive in the rain anyway:

Driver side vent:
The last step is to make a bracket to hold the hood release. Not a small job either.
I decided to install a 67 hood release instead, much easier.

Recovered dash. The local guy did an OK job but I had to bring it back a second time to get the lower indented part right. At least I didn't have to mail it.
Getting ready to install
One more modification to the "Perfect Fit" defroster duct bracket
Making some progress.
I also had to drill one extra hole in center driver and passenger
vent as the hole in the dash didn't line up.
